Product Description
This is an excellent flash unit for Canon EOS film SLR cameras including the popular EOS 300 (but not the 300X or any digital models). It has a bounce and zoom head, AF illuminator, and provides fully automatic dedicated TTL flash control. Wide range zoom flash head with 28mm and 35mm wide angle, 50mm standard plus 85mm and longer telephoto positions. The flash head tilts up to 90 degrees for bounce flash. The guide number is 30m (100 feet) with ISO 100 film at the 50mm zoom setting (less at wide angle, more at telephoto). TTL (Through The Lens) flash control system for extremely accurate exposures. Works in the camera's autofocus mode, and has a large AF illuminator on the front to assist focusing in low light. Takes 4x standard AA batteries, and alkaline types are recommended.
